Job Title: Personal Injury Settlement Paralegal Specialist

About the Role:

Gpac is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Personal Injury Settlement Paralegal Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys with trial preparation, legal research, and settlement disbursement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents: You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, interrogatories, and discovery requests, in accordance with judicial procedures.
  • Legal Research and Analysis: You will conduct thorough legal research, providing written analysis on statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other relevant sources.
  • Assisting Attorneys with Trial Preparation: You will assist our attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings.
  • Settlement Disbursement and Lien Negotiations: You will handle settlement disbursement and lien negotiations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a law firm setting, preferably in personal injury and litigation.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation related to litigation.
  • Skills: Proficient in e-filing procedures, local, state, and federal; proficient in conducting legal research using various databases and resources; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as paralegal studies, law, or a related field.
