Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in wood frame multifamily construction, with experience working on large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will be familiar with wrap, podium, or garden style construction projects and have a strong understanding of safety standards and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate construction activities on multiple project sites
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
Requirements:
- At least one or two years of experience in wood frame multifamily construction
- Experience working at a general contractor (GC) and/or builder developer
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
