We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Systems Design Engineer to join our Customer Success team at Synopsys. Key Responsibilities- Proactively support customers and prospective customers with diverse and complex technical questions via email, web, and face-to-face interactions.
- Partner with the sales and marketing teams to understand and meet customers' technical and business challenges.
- Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a customer environment.
- Provide insight and direction to improve usability, applicability, and adoption of Synopsys' products.
- Develop and use technical material in various formats for support, training, webinars, and customer visits.
- Collaborate with software development, sales, and product teams to enhance customer experience and product offerings.
- At least 3 years of experience in one or more disciplines: optics, photonics, photonic integrated circuits, opto-electronic devices, or physics.
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Optics, Optical Sciences, Data Analytics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with AI systems, illumination tools, stray light tools, solid modeling tools, and photonics tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in using advanced design tools and software.
- Strong analytical and technical skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
