We are currently seeking a committed and dependable professional to fill the role of Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor within our Maintenance Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all activities related to Aircraft Parts and Stores.
- Ensure optimal use of personnel assigned to the department.
- Monitor production quality and quantity while maintaining a clean working environment.
- Facilitate training and maintain accurate documentation; verify employee qualifications.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with company data systems and aviation terminology.
- Training in HAZMAT shipping and handling.
- Proven supervisory skills and technical knowledge necessary for this role.
- Understanding of accounting practices related to materials management.
- Knowledge of relevant sections of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual, including applicable CFR provisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Aircraft Parts or Stores Clerk.
Work Environment:
- Standard office setting, utilizing telephones, computers, and other office equipment.
- Airport ramp and warehouse environment, exposed to varying weather conditions and elevated noise levels.
- Availability for all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent activities including stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to handle objects weighing up to 70 pounds regularly, and up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance.
