Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments for work completed or purchase of parts requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Repair Order Reconciliation: Reconcile repair orders by transferring information from hard copies to soft copies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Materials Charge Calculation: Calculate materials charges applicable for each order, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Tax Calculation: Calculate taxes to be charged on categories of goods or services taxed in the local area, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers, providing them with proper change and/or receipts, and ensuring they are satisfied with their experience.
  • Accounting and Administration: Complete the accounting section of the repair order as directed by the controller, and update customer service history files according to company procedures.
  • Key Control: Control keys associated with completed repair orders, return keys to customers or porters when bills are paid, and direct customers to where they may find their vehicle.
  • Sublet Bills: Control and turn in sublet bills associated with repair orders to the business office.
  • Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints promptly, with genuine concern and according to dealership guidelines.
  • Reporting: Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, add, subtract, divide, and comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Experience: 6-12 months previous work experience (preferred).
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry Experience: Previous industry experience (preferred).
