Job Summary

The R&D Design Engineer will contribute to the development of new products and support current product lines. This role will apply mechanical engineering principles and analysis to design components, systems, and mechanical functions for floor maintenance products, including autonomous variants.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and document components and systems using CAD software
  • Develop engineering analysis and contribute to testing criteria and evaluation
  • Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements, balancing features, cost, and quality
  • Drive prototype construction and evaluation of design concepts

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering education
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical design environment
  • Ability to support occasional travel

Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Creo CAD modeling and Windchill data management
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP
