About the Role:

The MetroHealth System is seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Safety Management Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety standards throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will lead the continuous accreditation readiness program and collaborate with stakeholders on performance improvement projects related to regulatory requirements. Your expertise in management, organizational planning, communication, and interpersonal skills will drive success in this critical role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety standards
- Lead continuous accreditation readiness program
- Collaborate on performance improvement projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive environmental health and safety experience, including 2+ years in healthcare
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP), or other healthcare safety certification
- Strong knowledge of regulatory agencies, including EPA, OSHA, TJC, and NFPA
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel as needed

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
