Your role is crucial. Every position impacts our patients' lives, and you have the chance to make a significant difference. We are seeking a committed Radiologic Technologist II PRN to enhance our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
Support the hospital's commitment to service excellence and quality in all responsibilities.
Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, Medical Imaging, perform diagnostic C.T. examinations to ensure high-quality results.
Also, under the direction of the Operations Manager, Medical Imaging, conduct routine radiologic diagnostic exams to guarantee quality imaging.
- Identify each patient and review their chart and previous imaging exams for consistency (exam ordered/clinical diagnosis), recording relevant data on the patient's requisition.
- Assess patient condition and ensure safety through appropriate use of immobilization and support devices.
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service and patient care. As a team member, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every interaction with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
- Always verify physician orders before completing examinations.
- Perform routine radiography according to the procedure manual, accommodating any special instructions from the Radiologist or patient's physician.
What qualifications you will need:
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate of a Radiology Technology program.
- Registered ARRT (R) required; (CT) preferred.
- Minimum one year of hospital experience.
- BLS certification to be renewed bi-annually.
