Job Description

Five County Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Service Associate to join our team. As a Financial Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, processing transactions, and assisting with new account openings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent member service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with credit union policies.
  • Assist with new account openings, including gathering required documentation and explaining account features and benefits to members.
  • Perform introductory loan functions, such as keying loan applications and discussing general rate and term information with members.
  • Assist with balancing, posting, and troubleshooting of ATMs, ITMs, and cash recyclers.
  • Maintain knowledge of the payroll process for direct deposit and payroll deductions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members and colleagues.
  • Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Reliable transportation and attendance are a must.
