**Job Summary**

Core-Mark is seeking a skilled Truck Driver Class A CDL Local Route Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local routes, following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks on items.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures, collect money (cash or checks) where required, and ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean as required.

**Requirements**

  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • 6+ months foodservice distribution industry experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Must be 21+ years of age
