The Bloomberg Center for Government Excellence at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to support senior government leaders in leveraging data to drive better outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert coaching and technical assistance to city teams in developing and implementing data-driven strategies.
  • Design and deliver training programs and workshops for city officials, leveraging partnerships with academic and external organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to create new learning opportunities, curriculum, and resources.
  • Develop reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including Bloomberg Philanthropies.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, program development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with government organizations to expand programming.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field, with a strong background in data management and performance analysis.
  • At least one year of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior officials and diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ten years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in government data analysis and performance management.
