Job Title: Senior Trial Attorney

The Joel Bieber Firm is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join its growing Sexual Assault practice. As a key member of our team, you will handle a complex caseload of Sexual Assault cases from pre-litigation to trial.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of Sexual Assault cases from intake to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and develop case strategies.
  • Collaborate with support staff, paralegals, and other attorneys to ensure comprehensive case preparation.
  • Provide compassionate and effective representation for survivors of Sexual Assault.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the legal process.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and interests in all legal proceedings.
  • Represent clients in court, including pre-trial motions, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements when appropriate, while always prioritizing the best interests of the client.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies and trial preparations.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including investigators, social workers, and medical professionals.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys and support staff.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
Qualifications:
  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trial litigation, with a focus on Sexual Assault cases.
  • Strong trial advocacy skills and a successful track record in court.
  • Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and time-management skills
  • Must be computer proficient
  • Admission to practice in additional states is a plus but not required
