Ophthalmic Photographer Specialist

As a key member of our team at Retina Florida MSO LLC, the Ophthalmic Photographer Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures to support our clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform intravenous fluorescein angiographies and ICG angiographies with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct color fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, and retinal thickness analysis to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Obtain informed consent forms as necessary and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the proper functioning of cameras and associated instruments, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Assist with the smooth flow of the clinic, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available for the imaging department, minimizing downtime and delays.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and security protocols, upholding the highest standards of patient care and data protection.
- Support the company's mission statement and values, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and teamwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the success of the team.
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent experience in a related field, with COA or COT certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Patience, compassion, and excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
- Flexibility with hours and local area travel, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- Proficiency in multiple software programs and applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
