- Prepare Patients for Imaging: Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Conduct Imaging Procedures: Conduct imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Analyze Images: Analyze images to ensure they are of high quality and meet diagnostic standards.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as radiologists and physicians, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of medical imaging equipment and procedures.
