Primary Care Physician

- Provides outstanding patient care by performing detailed evaluations, assessments, and treatments for a designated patient demographic.
- Determines suitable medications and treatment strategies based on clinical evaluations.
- Facilitates patient referrals to specialized services as required.
- Complies with departmental policies and procedures while nurturing professional relationships with both staff and patients.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities crucial for meeting clinic goals, under the supervision of the Medical Director.
- Works collaboratively with the care team to guarantee comprehensive patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Assigned duties may differ.
- Active and unrestricted California Medical Board license.
- Board certification or eligibility.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- DEA registration for medication prescription.
- Previous experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and community health is beneficial.
- CPR certification is required.
- Familiarity with NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) is advantageous.
- Compliance with Continued Medical Education (CME) for certification maintenance.
- Completion of post-offer physical examination and medical history review.
- Ability to evaluate, document, and monitor patient conditions and progress.
- Understanding of the legal and ethical standards of medical care.
- Capable of managing an average of 20 patients daily for a Full-Time schedule.
