A leading healthcare organization, Tandym Group, is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional care to individuals in a clinic setting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, monitoring, and psychopharmacology services, working collaboratively with the Clinic Manager and staff to achieve the clinic's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic, palliative, preventative, or rehabilitation/habilitation services to individuals admitted to the program.
  • Electronically document all diagnostic assessment reports, individual plans of treatment, and treatment notes in each person's confidential electronic clinical record.
  • Review, update, and complete treatment plans every three months electronically.
  • Consult with each person receiving services and/or collaterals regarding treatment outcomes and course of treatment, at least semiannually.
  • Work in conjunction with the Clinic Psychiatrist and provide coverage when necessary.
  • Promote services in accordance with generally acceptable community standards of professional practice and in conformance to the requirements of all applicable statutes and regulations.
  • Report all unforeseen incidents in a timely manner to the Clinic Manager.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
  • 1 year of post-degree experience in a human services setting.
  • Accepted by Medicaid and Medicare for billing.
  • Ability to complete prescriptions.
  • Patient-oriented.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
