Job Description

Alpine, an ITW company, is a leading provider of building component software, equipment, and service to truss manufacturers. We partner with our customers to improve their businesses and increase productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement testing strategies and processes for software products and features.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and documentation to ensure overall quality of software releases.
  • Evaluate and execute test plans and test cases to identify issues or defects.
  • Document issues and defects in JIRA and communicate with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in design and peer review sessions of technical solutions and related code.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Working knowledge and expertise of Agile development methodology using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Demonstrated experience leading QA strategy and establishing quality best practices and procedures.
  • Proficient using testing tools such as Selenium, Zephyr, TestRail, Microfocus, Microsoft Visual Studio, and/or TestComplete.
  • Familiarity with DBMS tools such as Microsoft SQL Server and data formats such as XML and JSON.
  • Expert in manual and automated testing strategies such as unit testing, functional testing, end-to-end testing, acceptance testing, and performance testing.
