Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team in the Operating Room at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify needs and develop effective care plans
  • Implement and evaluate care according to patient-specific age and developmental needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience circulating in multiple surgical specialties in an acute hospital setting
  • Pediatrics cardiac experience is required
  • Previous experience working in a level 1 trauma center is preferred
  • Ability to assess effectiveness of patient care and maintain a calm demeanor in crises and emergencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
