Position Overview: Separately Managed Accounts Analyst
As a Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the precise execution of investment directives within SMA frameworks, ensuring that model modifications are communicated to sponsor firms efficiently and accurately. You will primarily operate independently on various tasks or under the guidance of senior personnel for more intricate projects, analyses, and responsibilities. Your role will involve acting as a key intermediary among our investment division, trading operations, product management, legal teams, client services, and diverse operational units to fulfill business objectives and address challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize technology and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support business expansion.
- Engage in or lead departmental initiatives and process improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience within the asset management sector; familiarity with SMA is advantageous.
- Operational understanding of securities, trading, portfolio management, trade settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, and reporting.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences.
- Ability to maintain composure while navigating challenges and changes.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in technology, with experience in CRD, Tableau, or Alteryx.
- Demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks effectively and follow through methodically.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary range, along with eligibility for individual performance bonuses and a company-sponsored retirement plan contributing 15% of eligible earnings.
