Role Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director of Human Resources, the Senior Recruitment Specialist is tasked with spearheading a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aimed at establishing and sustaining a robust pipeline of qualified and diverse candidates to facilitate the company's ongoing expansion. This role encompasses the entire talent acquisition lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, employment offer facilitation, and pre-employment activities. The individual will collaborate closely with the Organizational Development team and hiring managers to ensure that candidate selection criteria and tools are effectively defined and consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and refine full-cycle talent acquisition processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure effective recruitment and an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Foster strong communication and collaborative relationships with hiring managers and executive leadership while gaining a thorough understanding of business needs and talent requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies across various markets, utilizing resources such as HRIS, online job boards, social media, educational institutions, trade organizations, and employee referral programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments, including resume evaluations, virtual interviews, and in-person interviews.
  • Provide expert guidance to hiring managers on interviewing techniques and selection methodologies.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system and other essential records to ensure compliance and measure recruitment effectiveness.
  • Assist hiring managers and the Executive Director of HR in managing job offers, including drafting offer letters and coordinating pre-employment requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on recruitment campaigns and innovative strategies to attract passive candidates and enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor turnover trends within the organization and partner with HR and Organizational Development teams on retention strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives in collaboration with the Executive Director of HR.
  • Engage in ongoing initiatives and share best practices while leveraging resources from the Raymond Corporation and HRIS provider.
  • Participate in joint projects as a vital member of the Human Resources team.
  • Uphold the interests of candidates, employees, and the organization in alignment with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Stay informed about relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices in talent acquisition through continuous professional development.
  • Promote organizational values and standards, particularly emphasizing core principles.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, with hands-on expertise in full-cycle recruiting and various evaluation methods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems and effective recruitment processes.
  • Familiarity with social media recruitment and job boards.
  • Ability to source candidates across a diverse range of roles.
  • General understanding of employment laws and practices.
  • Experience with candidate assessment tools and recruitment marketing.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of ambition, creativity, and initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Capability to handle a high-volume workload with competing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
