Job Summary:
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at our McLane Children's Hospital location. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
- Participate in unit-based councils and committees to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
- Stay current with advances in neonatal care and participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience in a NICU setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
