As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide end-user technology support for our clients in the Enterprise Infrastructure Group. This role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and networking protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and networking protocols.
- Deploy and maintain computer systems, including loading base images and transferring applications and data to new computers.
- Support critical Service Level Agreements with timely and accurate execution of support requests via ticketing and tracking systems.
- Follow guidelines for reporting and escalation procedures.
- Interact with regional technical support teams and operations groups to ensure successful completion of customer requests and projects.
- Work with technical and non-technical personnel to optimize navigation of requests.
- Perform special assignments and other work-related duties as needed by management.
Requirements
- Associates degree and/or 2-3 years of knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
- A+ certification is a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
- Broad knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Client Hardware.
- Ability to excel in a change-controlled environment.
- Outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work optimally with clients and other groups.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Ability to think independently to meet goals based on requirements.
- A self-starter with good written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to pre-plan, coordinate, prioritize, and multitask.
