Tenants & Neighbors is a dynamic grassroots organization that empowers tenants to preserve affordable housing and strengthen their rights. We are seeking individuals who share our commitment to social justice and are passionate about making a difference in their communities. As a Board Member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's direction and ensuring that our mission is achieved. Your expertise in areas such as non-profit governance, fundraising, financial administration, PR and marketing, human resources, membership recruitment, and informational technology will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals. You will be expected to contribute at least 6-8 hours per month to the organization and participate in bi-monthly Board meetings, serve on committees, raise funds, attend events and lobby days, and advise the Executive Director on issues related to your areas of expertise.
