Transforming Transportation Infrastructure

At CHA Consulting, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Ohio Bridge Leader to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Bridge Team in Columbus, OH.

This key role will oversee the overall client relationship, including technical, financial, and logistical issues, and drive growth in the bridge practice regionally.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled collaborator with expertise in problem-solving, adaptation, and growth, and will clearly and successfully communicate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include developing strategies for key clients, executing those strategies to achieve client satisfaction and growth, and understanding the client's organization, including budget, priorities, organization structure, trends, and policy issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Planning, Engineering Management, or a related degree
  • PE or equivalent professional license
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience, with at least 8 years' project management experience
  • Established relationships with ODOT leadership
  • Knowledge of and history with ODOT contracts, selection process, and pre-qualifications
  • Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and growing client relationships
  • Ability to track and oversee multiple projects
  • Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments
  • Experience managing project accounting processes, including project budgeting, forecasts, and cash management
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Ability to travel as needed (approximately 10% of the time)
