Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clinical staff with patient mobility, taking vitals as appropriate for mobility needs, and documenting in the electronic medical record.
  • Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, emotional, mental conditions to nursing and/or therapy staff.
  • Responsible for reporting on mobility and align care with nursing and therapy, and document directly within Epic to support clinical team assessments.
  • Manage the cleanliness and organization of mobility equipment and the unit, as appropriate in accordance with infection prevention guidelines.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision to ensure effective patient care.

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
