The Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our surgical team as an Operating Room Circulator. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Act as a patient advocate before, during, and after surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor and record patient vitals pre-operation, providing critical information to the surgical team.
- Prepare surgical tools and materials, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
- Document every aspect of the operation, including surgical team members, tools used, and patient care.
- Advise the surgical team on potential patient risks during surgery, promoting a safe and successful outcome.
- Assist surgeons during procedures as needed, providing additional support and expertise.
- Escort patients to the recovery room post-operation, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Clean the operating room post-operation, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
- Account for all tools used during the procedure, ensuring accurate inventory and minimizing waste.
