Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at the Greater Philadelphia YMCA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition education and support to our community members, with a focus on diabetes prevention.

• Develop and implement nutrition education programs for community members, including diabetes prevention and management.
• Conduct assessments, consultations, and provide support to participants in our nutrition programs.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote our programs and services.
• Manage program budgets and track participant data to ensure program effectiveness.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of program strategies and initiatives.

• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification or eligible for certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
