Job Summary

The Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition education and prevention services to the community, with a focus on diabetes prevention. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a passion for health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for the community
  • Conduct assessments and consultations with participants
  • Recruit and register eligible participants into programs
  • Develop and monitor program budgets to meet fiscal objectives
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute professional insights

Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of fitness trends in the health and wellness community
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Diabetes Educator or qualified to become certified within 12 months
