Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietician to join our team at the Greater Philadelphia YMCA. As a key member of our health and wellness team, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition education and support to our community.

The Registered Dietician will be responsible for developing and implementing nutrition programs and services that promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention. This includes conducting enrollment, intakes, assessments, consultations, and providing support to participants. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, and have a strong understanding of the YMCA mission and purpose.

• Develop and implement nutrition programs and services that promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
• Conduct enrollment, intakes, assessments, consultations, and provide support to participants.
• Develop and facilitate program curriculum with participants throughout the program.
• Travel across the Greater Philadelphia service area to provide nutrition education and support to our community.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including community members, healthcare providers, and other organizations.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute professional insights.
• Lead nutrition efforts in the service area and beyond.

• Hold a Pennsylvania Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
• Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate well with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Be able to build strong relationships, inspire confidence, and work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Have a strong understanding of the YMCA mission and purpose.
• Be able to work remotely when required and travel 25-50%.
• Have a valid Driver's License and have reliable transportation.

• Certified Diabetes Educator or qualified to become certified within 12 months after hire date.
