Job Title: Security Specialist

Join Savannah River Nuclear Solutions as a Security Specialist and contribute to the success of our team. As a key member of our Physical Security Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain security plans and procedures to ensure compliance with DOE directives and regulations.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security risk analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with protective force operations to ensure effective security measures are in place.
  • Provide technical support and oversight to ensure the implementation of security programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as security management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in security management or a related field.
  • Expert-level knowledge of DOE Orders and regulations related to safeguards and security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
