About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our Effector Power and Analog Design (EPAD) Team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, simulating, testing, and documenting power conversion circuitry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust power systems for our Telemetry and Flight Termination products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and develop circuit card designs.
  • Drive the design process from requirements definition to initial integration testing.
  • Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities.
  • Present technical work products to functional and program leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced STEM degree.
  • Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with non-isolated converter topologies.
  • Experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or other similar tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Self-starter with good time management skills and ability to function in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience communicating and documenting technical topics at the small team level.
