Job Title: Correctional Mental Health

CoreCivic is seeking a skilled Correctional Mental Health professional to join our team in Olney Springs, Colorado.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced mental health professional to provide clinical mental health services to inmates in our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting mental health screenings and assessments, developing and implementing individual treatment plans, and providing counseling and crisis interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to identify inmates' needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to inmates, addressing a range of mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for inmates.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of treatment and evaluation activities.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote mental health and well-being among inmates.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable role.
  • Appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred).
