Unlicensed Mental Health Counselor - Critical Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Unlicensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Diversus Health. As a critical care specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' social, emotional, and psychiatric history and diagnosis
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including safety planning and determining the appropriate level of care
  • Establish connections with necessary resources and facilitate admission to suitable inpatient facilities when needed
  • Maintain active engagement with crisis hotlines, schools, community partners, first responders, and hospital emergency departments
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or a related behavioral health field
  • Plan to obtain licensure within two years, preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to perform and understand active listening, ethical conduct, social perception, service orientation, complex problem-solving, writing, monitoring, judgment, and decision-making skills
