As a Correctional Mental Health professional, you will be responsible for providing clinical mental health services to inmates, including assessments, treatment planning, and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to identify inmates' needs and develop individual treatment plans.
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to inmates, including individual and group sessions.
  • Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each inmate.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable role.
  • Appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs.
  • Valid driver's license (unless required by contract or applicable statute).
