Position Overview:
The Part-Time Clinical Research Dietitian plays a crucial role in the implementation of the nutritional aspects of research initiatives. This position involves providing dietary counseling to both inpatient and outpatient participants involved in research studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and gather dietary intake forms and questionnaires, ensuring accurate compilation of dietary data.
- Conduct quality assurance checks as necessary.
- Occasionally assist members of the Nutrition Core team with food service tasks, including meal provision.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Hold an active Dietitian/Nutritionist license from the State of Florida Department of Health.
- Proficient in weight loss counseling, development of nutritional education materials, calorie needs assessment, menu planning, and quality assurance.
Employment Type:
This is a contractual role with a duration of one year.
Work Environment:
This position requires full on-site presence.
