Catering Sales Development Specialist

At The Moxy St. Petersburg, we are seeking a talented Catering Sales Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for selling the public space, food and beverage, and function planning services of the hotel to maximize revenues and profits.
About the RoleThe Catering Sales Manager will establish new accounts, generate revenues, monitor booking pace, and book repeat business while maintaining high quality standards. They will work closely with other F&B managers to ensure seamless service delivery and respond promptly to guest complaints.
Key Responsibilities- Effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Maintain regular attendance and comply with company standards and regulations.
- High School diploma or equivalent, or experience in a hotel or related field.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Detail client needs, create group room blocks, and maintain accurate billing and communication.
- Monitor quality of service in Banquets, know meeting room sets and capabilities, and re-solicit past local accounts.
- Set solicitation goals, meet or exceed revenue goals, and manage booking pace.
