Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily oversight of merchant transaction activities and chargeback occurrences.
  • Engage in investigative audits concerning merchant operations.
  • Deliver analytical support to various departments, offering insights related to transactions, merchants, and optimal practices for card acceptance.
  • Address and resolve inquiries from merchants and partners, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Support the underwriting and onboarding processes for new merchant accounts, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and collaborating with sales teams for necessary information.
Qualifications:
  • This role requires onsite presence; remote or hybrid options are not available.
  • A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in risk management within the merchant acquiring sector is essential.
  • Familiarity with underwriting and due diligence tools (e.g., Equifax, TIN Check, MATCH, identity verification, processing statement analysis) is advantageous.
  • Comprehension of risks associated with the payment processing sector, including fraud, credit, regulatory, and legal considerations.
  • Knowledge of card brand regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective interaction with partners, merchants, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard applications is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
