Job Description:

At Bank of America, we are committed to excellence in risk management and process improvement. As a Risk Process Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data used in risk measurement and reporting.

As a member of our Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) teams, you will work closely with senior management and other team members to identify and remediate risks associated with data quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and analyzing data to ensure its completeness, validity, and accuracy
  • Creating reports and analysis on data quality
  • Implementing effective risk controls for data processes and systems
  • Participating in user acceptance testing of data control processes

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from process improvement initiatives to data remediation efforts. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the Bank's risk management and process improvement efforts.

Role Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Risk Process Analysts. As a Risk Process Analyst, you will have the opportunity to learn about and conduct activities that support all aspects of the end-to-end testing lifecycle.

You will work closely with teammates in GRA/EIT as well as process owners in the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to obtain an understanding of processes, including underlying data, flows, and controls. Your goal will be to identify risks to successful execution and develop appropriate testing and monitoring strategies.

Examples of day-to-day responsibilities a Risk Process Analyst may perform include:

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across the Bank to identify risks and prioritize testing needs
  • Documenting and analyzing testing requirements
  • Source and evaluating data required for testing
  • Designing and developing tests
  • Executing tests
  • Providing reporting of test results
  • Communicating key testing insights to stakeholders across the Bank
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate or master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • A GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Proficiencies in leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication
  • A strong understanding of risk management and process improvement principles
  • Experience with data analysis and testing
  • Programming skills, such as Python
Desired Skills and Experience:
