Key Responsibilities- Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the technical discipline and work with various engineering organizations to contribute to the development of engine systems and designs.
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers, ensuring proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Resolve issues within current technical knowledge base and judgment within established procedures, consulting more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Monitor and communicate project status to Engineering leadership, providing timely communications on significant issues or developments.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in a relevant engineering position.
- Fundamental understanding of turbomachinery design, previous experience in design of Aviation components, and proficiency with Ansys and Unigraphics.
- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively within an organization.
- Established project management skills, demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, and documented experience of being a self-starter with a passion for problem solving and driving solutions.
