">We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner for a challenging opportunity in our PCU department at a top healthcare facility in Rapid City, South Dakota. ">About the Position:
">- Role: Progressive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner
- Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our patients and team members
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, nights
Responsibilities:
">- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, identifying potential issues and taking appropriate action to prevent complications
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care
Requirements:
">- Certifications: RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification
- Experience: At least 18 months of experience as a nurse practitioner in an acute care setting, preferably in a progressive care unit
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution
