Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at Diversified Protection Corporation. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting and safeguarding assets, personnel, customers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform security patrols to ensure the safety and security of our clients' assets and personnel.
  • Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
  • Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security-related situations.
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in accordance with our department's procedures.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Proficient in English
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Fully capable of performing duties requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion
  • Fully capable of self-defense, tactical exercises, and weaponless defense
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • District of Columbia certification as an unarmed special police officer
