Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an average gross margin of 15% or higher across all projects.
  • Manage up to 6 electrical contracts simultaneously, ensuring they are organized and estimated for future work.
  • Acquire new work with a hit ratio of 10%.
  • Ensure 100% of projects are profitable.
  • Deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new clients by acquiring new profitable work.
  • Drive prefabrication with the field team.
  • Obtain LEED AP accreditation within 6 months.
  • Continuously educate yourself in related fields.
  • Assist in training new Foremen and growing existing Foremen with labor-saving ideas.
  • Sign a non-compete agreement if required for the position.
  • Provide assistance in acquiring quality Senior Supervision from past work relationships.
Requirements
  • More than 5 years of experience and knowledge in commercial and industrial electrical work.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using sophisticated test equipment (DMM, Megger, PQM, UCT, IR Camera, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Responsible for preparing subcontract agreements and obtaining necessary permits.
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Responsible for preparing and buying out purchase orders.
  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.
  • Responsible for preparing project budgets and schedules of values.
  • Responsible for reviewing files according to company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for reviewing contract drawings and addressing RFIs in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for preparing O&M manuals.
  • Responsible for reviewing and submitting As-Built drawings.
  • Responsible for preparing Warranty documents.
  • Responsible for tracking punch lists and ensuring items are complete.
  • Responsible for ensuring all spare parts are turned over and signed for.
