DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Fire Door Inspector to lead the DH Pace Compliance Program. The ideal candidate will promote our values-based service philosophy by providing code-compliant solutions to customers.
Responsibilities:- Complete Field Inspection Form to determine pass/fail based on Codes and Standards.
- Submit report of findings based on Code/Standards.
- Attach QR code stickers on openings as required.
- Take photos of openings and deficiencies as required.
- Submit inspection findings via daily upload of data from the tablet.
- Make adjustments and/or install products to bring openings into compliance.
- Ensure a safe working environment and maintain a clean job site.
- Complete job tickets and timesheets accurately.
- Update inspection of opening, post-repair, on tablet.
- Travel as required.
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Average ability to operate a computer, phone, and other productivity device.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and applying commercial building codes and standards is a plus.
- Commercial door, frame, and hardware experience is a plus but not required.
