Job Summary:

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Fire Door Inspector to provide leadership of the DH Pace Compliance Program. The ideal candidate will promote our values-based service philosophy by offering code-compliant solutions to customers' door-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete Field Inspection Form to determine pass/fail based on Codes and Standards.
  • Submit report of findings based on Code/Standards.
  • Attach QR code stickers on openings as required.
  • Take photos of openings and deficiencies as required.
  • Submit inspection findings via daily upload of data from the tablet.
  • Make adjustments and/or install products to bring openings into compliance.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and maintain a clean job site.
  • Complete job tickets and timesheets accurately.
  • Update inspection of opening, post-repair, on tablet.
  • Travel as required.

Requirements:

  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Average ability to operate a computer, phone, and other productivity device.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and applying commercial building codes and standards is a plus.

Physical Work Environment Requirements:

  • Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder, stand for long periods, and climb stairs.
