Position: Utility Operations Supervisor
Location: Fort Campbell, Kentucky
City Light & Power, Inc. is recognized as a pioneering and dependable leader in Utility Development. We provide comprehensive support to federal entities, military installations, municipalities, and major utility providers throughout the United States, encompassing financing, design, engineering, construction, and ongoing operational maintenance for electrical transmission and distribution systems. We are currently in search of a Utility Operations Supervisor for our Fort Campbell site in Kentucky.
Role Summary:
The Utility Operations Supervisor serves as the primary representative of City Light & Power at client locations. This role entails overseeing the delivery functions related to transmission, substations, and distribution, which includes engineering, operations, planning, and managing both overhead and underground service teams, as well as electrical substation and testing crews. This management position holds accountability for all facets of CLP's projects at Fort Campbell.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Senior Manager representing CLP at the site.
- Oversee all elements of the Utility Privatization contract.
- Engage with stakeholders including owners, architects, and subcontractors to establish program objectives and plans.
- Formulate teams, set objectives/goals, and delegate responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary contact for Union IBEW Workers.
- Comprehend project accounting functions, including budget management, expense tracking, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery to the Base Commander at Fort Campbell.
- Maintain strict compliance with budgetary constraints, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Participate in the estimate review process and follow up on project closeout.
- Authorize procurement of materials, tools, and equipment for CLP at Fort Campbell.
- Focus on customer relations; develop an understanding of the client's culture, key personnel, and processes.
- Submit Request for Information documents to clients.
- Prepare and present the annual revision of the 5-Year Capital Improvement/Repair & Replacement Plan to the client.
- Conduct and manage weekly meetings with the General/Crew Foreman for project assessments.
- Review all maintenance activities on a weekly basis.
- Stay informed about and resolve QA/QC issues.
- Review and approve look-ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of seven to ten years of experience in the utility sector, with a strong understanding of electric distribution, transmission, and substation projects.
- Proven experience in program/project management, with the ability to prepare time/cost/labor estimates.
- Proficiency in understanding construction schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams and collaborate with various partners throughout project lifecycles.
- Prior military experience with relevant project management, engineering, operations, and maintenance experience is advantageous.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
- Valid Driver's License is mandatory.

- Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year based on experience, with eligibility for participation in the Short Term Incentive Plan.
