Job Title: Client Service Center Associate

This is a remote position that requires candidates to reside in one of the following markets: Twin Cities area, MN; Grand Forks or Fargo, ND; or Phoenix, AZ.

Job Summary:

The Client Service Center Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Alerus banking clients. This role involves troubleshooting and addressing client issues, providing support, and offering information as needed to ensure accurate and efficient responses to client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephone, email, and chat inquiries from Alerus banking, retirement, and health benefit clients in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Provide professional, accurate, and clear communication to clients.
  • Understand and communicate the features and benefits of Alerus products and services.
  • Utilize Salesforce to document all client interactions.
  • Meet performance standards, including quality assurance scores, productivity, and handle ratio.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of business experience in employee benefits, customer service, or accounting/bookkeeping preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience directly related to financial services preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize, be self-motivated, and independently manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Available to work overtime to cover peak workloads and meet other business needs.
