Safety Coordinator Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with employees and managers to promote a culture of safety and encourage open communication.
  • Provide training and education on safety protocols and procedures to ensure a high level of awareness and understanding.
  • Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of related experience in safety management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource systems, Solomon Payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
