Job Title: Mental Health Technician

At Sunrise Vista Behavioral Hospital, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing professional, compassionate care for adults and seniors in need of behavioral health services.

Job Summary:

The Mental Health Technician will provide activities of daily living (ADLs) to patients, report changes to the RN, and perform routine procedures such as vital signs and accuchecks. You will also assist in the admission process by orienting patients to the milieu and securing patient belongings and valuables.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide ADLs to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Report changes to the RN and document patient information
  • Perform routine procedures such as vital signs and accuchecks
  • Assist in the admission process by orienting patients to the milieu
  • Secure patient belongings and valuables
  • Perform ongoing observation of patients and carry out specific interventions to ensure patient safety
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Preferred STNA or Nurses Aide certification
