We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School-Based Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide mental health services to children and adolescents in a school-based setting, working closely with teachers, administrators, and other mental health professionals to support the emotional and behavioral well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and family therapy sessions with children and adolescents, addressing a range of mental health concerns and issues.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with school staff and other mental health professionals.
  • Provide mental health consultation and prevention services to school staff and students, promoting a positive and supportive school environment.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement school-wide mental health initiatives and programs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and school-based services.
Requirements
  • Licensed in the State of Ohio to provide assessment and therapy via the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, or the Ohio Board of Psychology.
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting, preferably in a mental health role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and professionals.
