Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide mental health services to children and adolescents in a school-based setting, working closely with teachers, administrators, and other mental health professionals to support the emotional and behavioral well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions with children and adolescents, addressing a range of mental health concerns and issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with school staff and other mental health professionals.
- Provide mental health consultation and prevention services to school staff and students, promoting a positive and supportive school environment.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement school-wide mental health initiatives and programs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and school-based services.
- Licensed in the State of Ohio to provide assessment and therapy via the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, or the Ohio Board of Psychology.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting, preferably in a mental health role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and professionals.
