About the Role

CWS is seeking a skilled Case Manager to support refugees in making a successful transition to their new life in the United States. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential services to help refugees achieve self-sufficiency and integrate into their new community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and orient refugee populations to the community and culture.
  • Assist Cuban-Haitian Entrants clients in developing self-sufficiency plans.
  • Provide case management and identify support services that help clients to better integrate and succeed in their new community.
  • Document all contacts and services in client case files and maintain case note logs.
  • Provide translation/interpretation and accompaniment to clients when necessary.
  • Attend community outreach events and meetings to promote services for Cuban Haitians.
  • Represent the program at meetings and speaking engagements relevant to the responsibilities of the position.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years of previous work experience and interest in refugee resettlement, case management or other direct social services to migrants and refugees.
  • Fluency in Haitian Creole or Spanish is required. Superior English written and verbal communication skills are required.
